Video Editor (Post-Production) – A Cleaner and Greener East London

A Cleaner and Greener East London is a three-year, community-led climate action campaign funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. Led by Paint the Change alongside six grassroots partners across Hackney, Bexley, Newham, Havering, and Greenwich, the project empowers young people, low-income communities, and those facing disadvantage to lead meaningful environmental change through creativity, culture, and collective action.
We are seeking a Video Editor to craft compelling visual content across our campaigns, workshops, and community projects.
You will edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, educational platforms, and partner organisations. From documenting murals and community stories to producing polished campaign films, your work will play a key role in shaping our public voice.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit videos for Instagram, YouTube, and digital platforms
Work with raw footage from field projects and workshops
Add subtitles, graphics, and sound design
Collaborate with producers and storytellers
Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
Strong storytelling and pacing skills
Experience with subtitles and social-first formats
Interest in social impact, art, or education
